City staff will update the roadway and urban design. We anticipate sharing these updates in more detail in early 2022. Please see the tentative schedule below for major project milestones.
Actual construction of the project will begin after the process shown below has been completed. At this time, we are targeting a construction start of spring/summer 2023.

Other projects in the area
In addition to the Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements, the City is working on other projects that will help implement the vision in the City Center Plan Update Phase 1 Vision Report, including the International Boulevard Pedestrian Crossing and Local Road Safety Plan and the City Center Plan Update Phase 2 Project, which will create a subarea plan based on the Vision Report (starting in 2022).
