Urban Design Elements

The elements shown below aim to create a clear visual identity, or theme, for the Airport Station area, as well as providing a safe and inviting experience for all users. Ultimately, all the elements will be combined into the draft Urban Design Report that provides guidance for future projects.

The elements reflect the values and priorities shared by the community during the City Center Plan Update Phase 1 Vision Report. The City Council-appointed Ad Hoc Committee carefully selected an identity for the Airport Station area that celebrates SeaTac, honors the community’s unique blend of industry, technology, and hospitality, and illustrates the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The urban design elements use timeless materials and colors that are low maintenance and multi-purpose to reflect these themes.

Please review the proposed urban design elements and respond to the questions below to share your thoughts.
